Failure of Custom Interface while loading the Rates to Clarity via XOG

Issue/Introduction

We have a process which integrates and pushes the data of resources from another application to Clarity PPM. It fails on a certain xog file. 

Errors seen when the issue happens:

  • XOG failure: SQL Exception with error code : 20219
  • XOG-9004: Matrix row 3048 where not imported because it has invalid data
  • In the XOG screen it shows:

Failed to retrieve response document

Com.niku.xog.XOGException: java.net.SocketException: Unexpected end of file from server

Used by java.net.SocketException: Unexpected end of file from server

Cause

This issue can happen if there are duplicate rate records in the xog file or if the line entry already exists in the Rate Matrix

Environment

Release : All Supported Releases

Component : CA PPM SAAS XML OPEN GATEWAY (XOG)

Resolution

  1. Check for any duplicate rate records in the xog file, if any are found, remove the duplicates then retry the integration
  2. If the above doesn't help, check to see if the row referenced in the error message already exists in the rate matrix. If yes, remove the duplicate rate  from the cooresponding XOG File.
