Environment

Release : 12.2

Component : CA NetMaster Network Management for TCP/IP

Cause

There is a NCL procedure (OCSINIT)  that sets up Operator Console Services (OCS) environment:

&CONTROL NOINTLOG
-PROFILE HOLD=999
-AUTOHOLD NOAUTO
-PF12 CS-
-PF13 D NET,CDRMS,SCOPE=ALL
-PF14 D NET,PENDING
-PF15 D NET,STATIONS,SCOPE=ALL
-PF16 D NET,CLSTRS,SCOPE=ALL
-PF17 PR PPO=NO
-PF18 PR PPO=YES

After having applied PTF SO09834 (INITIAL OCS COMMAND SUPPORT FOR COMMAND ENTRY), that PROC it's invoked from Netmaster Command Entry also.

Resolution

At the very beginning of the procedure, add:

&IF .&ZOCS NE .YES &THEN &EXIT

so it is not executed when not in OCS.

After making the change ensure you UNLOAD the old proc by using UNLOAD PROC=<procName> from CMD.

Additional Information

Other possible error, depending on what is the content of the procedure:

N10648 PROFILE COMMAND INVALID FOR ENVIRONMENT.
