Issue/Introduction

We have upgraded CA OPS/MVS from 12.3 to OPSMVS 13.5

On ISPF we see OPSVIEW Main panel  Release  - 12.3

and in 4.1.1 we see

VERSION             '13.05.00'          PRODUCT VERSION CODE

BROWSEVERSION       '12.03.00'          BROWSE AREA VERSION STRING

PERMVERSION         '13.05.00'          VERSION THAT CREATED CONTROL BLOCK

Environment

Release : 13.5

Component : OPS/MVS

Cause

Customer in the process of upgrading release

Resolution

Issue command TSO ISRDDN to ensure OPS is pointing to the correct PENU library.   Correcting the library should resolve the OPSVIEW release discrepancy.

The BROWSEVERSION parameter simply indicates the OPSMVS version at which the current OPSLOG DIV was originally initialized/used/populated....  This is informational only, and does not represent a problem unless the upgrade is to a release where the previous OPSLOG format is incompatible.
