We have upgraded to a new release of OPS/MVS.
(NOTE: Although the below example shows a specific set of releases, this could happen at ANY release of OPS/MVS)
On ISPF we see OPSVIEW Main panel Release - 12.3
Bu in the OPS/MVS parameters panel (= 4.1.1) we see:
VERSION '13.05.00' PRODUCT VERSION CODE
BROWSEVERSION '12.03.00' BROWSE AREA VERSION STRING
PERMVERSION '13.05.00' VERSION THAT CREATED CONTROL BLOCK
OPS/MVS Event Managment & Automation, ALL RELEASES
Issue command TSO ISRDDN to ensure that OPS/MVS is pointing to the correct PENU library. Correcting the library should resolve the OPSVIEW release discrepancy.
The BROWSEVERSION parameter simply indicates the OPSMVS version at which the current OPSLOG DIV was originally initialized/used/populated.... This is informational only, and does not represent a problem unless the upgrade is to a release where the previous OPSLOG format is incompatible.
