Easytrieve and the reading of accented characters. 

Is Easytrieve able to read accented characters? A dot (period) instead of accented character is in the output.

Environment

Easytrieve reading accented characters.

Resolution

We did some Testing,and this is not an easytrieve problem. The dot (period) instead of accented character is in the output when I see in sysview (I use SYSOUT=* for SYSPRINT), but if I put it to a dataset, the output is as expected.  

We used a Czech character for our tests, so there is still possibility that for Spanish ones the behavior is different, the problem is most probably in the way how the output is displayed.
