What are these new messages on the IPL of the new release ACF2 r16?

Issue/Introduction

New ACF2 release 16 was installed with all the current maintenance.

What are these new messages I see with the IPL on ACF1 r16?

MSG ='ACF79505 FAC INITIAL START IN PROGRESS FOR SYSTEM: sys1' 

MSG ='ACF79518 WARNING: NO RECORD(S) FOUND FOR FAC FAC'

MSG ='ACF79507 FAC PROCESSING COMPLETED WITHOUT ERROR'

 

I have never seen type FAC before.

Resolution

Advanced Authentication Mainframe is new in ACF2 r16.  Advanced Authentication Mainframe lets users log on to z/OS applications by using RSA SecurID credentials instead of a CA ACF2 password/password phrase.

Part of that support are FACTOR records, or FAC systype.  For more information on AAM, please refer to the current ACF2 manuals.
