Issue/Introduction

The LVM (Logical Data Volume) 3 (LVM3) area allocation of MOI has exhausted. The other ones had:

LVM1 (26%) and LVM2 (43%)

After stopping the docker services and adding 100 GB to LVM1-LMV2-LVM3 and restarting the docker services--and rebooting the machine--some services such as

oiengine_profiler-maas_1

smfadapter_smf-adapter_1

recommender_recommender_1)

did not start up (remained as UNHEALTHY).

Environment

OS :  x86_64 Linux

Release :     2.0.04

Component : MF OPERATIONAL INTELLIGENCE

Resolution

Reinstalled the MOI appliance and problem was resolved (all services became HEALTHY).

The reinstall should not have been needed. You should not have to reinstall to add additional storage to the MOI LVMs.
Also the steps that you followed are correct:

Format the new disk drives | add the disk drives to each LVM | just to be clean reboot your MOI appliance.

You should then have seen the new storage increased for your LVMs.
