I just upgrade ACF2 MVS to r16 and now my IMS regions are getting 'ACFDC108 SIGNON AUTH VALUE IMS IS INVALID IMST', what causes this error?

Issue/Introduction

I just upgrade ACF2 MVS to r16 and now my IMS regions are getting 'ACFDC108 SIGNON AUTH VALUE IMS IS INVALID IMST', what causes this error?

Resolution

The 'ACFDC108 SIGNON AUTH VALUE IMS IS INVALID IMST' message is an indication that the IMST bit is not defined in either the @CFDE or @MLID definitions of the ACFFDR. 

Verify your site's ACFFDR USERMOD changes that were used with ACF2 r15 with your R16 ACFFDR assembly listings to insure all updates(line numbers) are in place.

The TSO, ACF, SHOW MLID and SHOW MUSASS commands can be used to verify the MLID and MUSASS definitions on the r16 system
