CA Deliver - Receive Message RMODBA15 'Security Authorization for Database Updates Denied'

Issue/Introduction

With the upgrade of a Deliver database, the client receives message:

 RMODBA15 ' Security Authorization for database updates denied'

The client would like to have identified where the security error is.

Resolution

The client received the RMODBA15 message as a result of not having permissions for an administrator, in the RMOATHTB table, for the Deliver database in question.

A review of their RMOPARM parameters showed that the client had no specific Deliver security (for example, an RMOATHTB authority table), meaning that the only security they had in force was what was coded in Top Secret.

The client was added to the RMOATHTB authority table, and was then able to run the VERSION process successfully.
