How to move the dataset SYSCHK1 from one volume to another?

Environment

Release : Any

Component : OPS/MVS

Resolution

OPS must be shutdown when the move is performed.

1) Allocate a new SYSCHK1 dataset (member DEFDIV of the CCLXCNTL library is a model)

2) Shutdown OPSMAIN

3) Use IDCAMS REPRO to copy the old to the new dataset

4) The SYSCHK1 dataset name is pointed by the OPSSPA00 member so either:

1. - rename the newly created dataset to the name OPSSPA00 is using OR
2. - update OPSSPA00 to reflect the new dataset name
