Is there a way to monitor and clean up the index cache if its larger is size

Issue/Introduction

Directory indexCache (Automic\AutomationEngine\bin\indexCache)Folder in Automation Engine server showing size of 2.6 GB data. 
Is there a way to monitor and clean up the index cache if its larger is size ? 

Environment

Release : 12.3

Component : AUTOMATION ENGINE

Resolution

We can use the below process to rebuild the index.

 

A. Backup the files in IndexCache folder

B. Stop all JWP(s) as well as JCP(s) 

C. Remove the folder "IndexCache" or  "IndexCache-12.x" in the BIN directory of the Automation Engine 

D. Use the process from below document to rebuild the IndexCache.

E.Start the JWP(s) and afterward the JCP(s)

 

This rebuilds the index from scratch. Then the search in AWI will find all objects.
