What is different in ACFESAGE for R15 and R16?

Issue/Introduction

Running the ACFESAGE unload against, ACF2 REL 16 / MVS SP7.2.2, The unload contains 0100, 0110, and 0111 records, plus others. But when running the ACFESAGE unload against ACF2 REL 15 / MVS SP7.1.3, the unload does not contain any 0100, 0110, 0111 records. It starts with the 0200 records. Why does the unload not contain the expected 0100's records?

Resolution

ACFESAGE and SAGREC work together in creating the flat file output. A newer SAGEREC cannot be used without making changes to ACFESAGE to fill in the newer values.

When using a program to read the data, the SAGEREC must be at the same level as when the flat file was created. One option is to STEPLIB to a more current ACFESAGE which contains the 0100's records.
