How to reset an end-user's password in Workload Automation DE

Issue/Introduction

This document explains the process for resetting an end-users password in Workload Automation DE Desktop Client.

Environment

All Workload Automation DE (dSeries)

Any Operating System

Resolution

  1. Connect to the Workload Automation DE server using the  Desktop Client as the user that you want to change the password.
  2. Click on the Connections icon on the toolbar (the connections view opens).
  3. Right-click on the server connection and select Change Password from the pop-up menu.
  4. Enter the old and new passwords to confirm the password change and click OK button (the password changes).


Alternatively as an Administrative user:

1) Navigate to the Admin perspective.

2) Click on Security.

3) Locate and double-click on the user that you wish to change the password.

4) Enter the password in the Password and Confirm Password fields.

5) Click the save icon located in the upper right corner of the screen. (It's a little floppy disk)
