Easytrieve r6.4, to r11.x upgrade difference.

Why is this program now getting an 'EZABX009 An index or subscript is out of range' runtime message?

Environment

Upgrade from Easytrieve 6.4 to Easytrieve r11.6.

Resolution

Bounds Checking: 

Easytrieve Report Generator now checks to ensure that your indexes and subscripts do not refer past the end of the field. This results in more stable and reliable applications. However, older programs that were miscoded may now display boundary problems that always silently existed in older versions. 

Please add DISPLAY and DISPLAY HEX statements to identify the exact field out of bounds on the statement identified within the error message.
