2nd connector with password reset

Issue/Introduction

2 IDM connectors point to 2 identity manager environments respectively. Connector1 is specifically used for password reset and the Connector 2 is used for everything else. In portal, the connector1 is the main connector. Is it possible to configure portal password services to use the forgotten password reset specified in connector 2 instead of the forgotten password task specified in connector1?
