Issue/Introduction

When attempt to enter Gen Host Encyclopedia get the message: "PARAMETER FILE ERROR.000".

Resolution

For this error when entering the Gen Host Encyclopedia, check the session allocations by entering the following from the command line within your session: 

TSO ISRDDN  

Make sure there is a DDNAME for TIUPARML with your PARMLIB library allocation for your logged in session. 
For example looking at a example 'TSO ISRDDN',  you should see a reference like:  'TIUPARML   AAAC.COOLH01.AG86.PARMLIB'
