How to confirm if the Extended Reporting Feature is being used

Issue/Introduction

Migrating from release 6.4 to release 11.6, is the Extended Reporting Functionality being used and therefore the MOV64PSD installation job should be run?

Environment

Easytrieve Report Generator, release 11.6.

Resolution

Please know that the EZTPXRPT module has a default size of 10 bytes in length.  If this is still 10 bytes in length in the CAILIB from your 6.4 releases, then you can be assured that Extended Reporting is not being used and therefore the MOV64PSD JCL member in your CBAAJCL library does not need to be run.

If the length is confirmed to be a number that it is greater than 10 bytes, then you may also do a find on the word 'EXTENDED' in the source of the Easytrieve programs in order to determine if this functionality is still being used.
