Issue/Introduction

Can SLA's be copied across iDash servers, including automation of reports ? Cust has 3 environments of Autosys & each environment has iDash 12.0 configured on Linux RHEL7 server. Planning to migrate the SLAs created in non Production to Production instances instead of manually creating them everytime

Resolution

The ask is around migrating SLA definitions and Report definitions from one iDash server to the another.

If the AutoSys instance names and job names are the same between their Non-Production and Production environments of iDash then the DB migration can be performed.

If also interested to migrate the AutoSys job run, event and audit data stored in iDash, then it can be done provided the previously mentioned requirements are met. In short, if non-production and production environments are identical from AutoSys instance and job names perspective then can be performed the migration of the iDash DB schema from non-production to production.
