Issue/Introduction

Resource access validation exit

We are exploring the possibility to use the Resource access validation exit to 

check/control if a CICS region acid (which has NORESCHK) can access 

a particular CSFKEY(xxxx.yyyy.zzzz). 

Is this possible?

Resolution

No there was no sample of the Resource access validation code 

for the sort of thing you want to do. 

The exit is not able to do that. 

 

Once the acid has a BYPASS attribute, we will not go through a security call, we exit the TSSINSTX EXIT.
