CA PIM 14.0 Unable to Connect with CA Business Intelligence Jasper Report Server

Issue/Introduction

After we Generate a Dashboard in CA Business Intelligence. 

When we try to run the reprot, it shows no data.

When check the catalina logs on the Jasper Server. It shows the mentioned error.

 

 

Environment

Release: Jaspersoft 6.3.0



Resolution

Steps to resolve the issue: (Please note cabi-restconnector-1.4.jar is attached to this document)


1. Login to CABI(Jaspersoft) using superuser credentials.
2. Go to Manage Menu Option and select Server Settings.
3. Go to Restore Defaults Tab and delete any entry for org.apache.calcite.jdbc.Driver and Click Save.
4. Stop the CABI Server.
5. Go to C:\Program Files\CA\SC\CA Business Intelligence\apache-tomcat\ directory and delete temp and work folders.
6. Delete cabi-restconnector-1.0.0.jar from C:\Program Files\CA\SC\CA Business Intelligence\apache-tomcat\webapps\jasperserver-pro\WEB-INF\lib directory.
7. Copy the cabi-restconnector-1.4.jar(attached) into C:\Program Files\CA\SC\CA Business Intelligence\apache-tomcat\webapps\jasperserver-pro\WEB-INF\lib\ directory.
8. Start the CABI Server.
9. Login to the CABI using pim organization and jasperadmin credentials.
10. Adhoc views will be working as expected.

Note:
1) Windows CABI Tomcat Directory is C:\Program Files\CA\SC\CA Business Intelligence\apache-tomcat\
2) Linux CABI Tomcat Directory is /opt/CA/SharedComponents/CA/ Business Intelligence/apache-tomcat/
