Issue/Introduction

What to check if a Log Analyzer for Db2 for z/OS (PLA) DML report job terminates with the
following error message in conjunction with a sort capacity error:

LAE0032E LAL@BLDX terminated with return/abend code: 16

Resolution

The DML Report has a default  DYNSORT parameter as follows:
DYNSORT = (DSNUM(2),SPACE(10,10),MAINSIZE(1000),MSG(N))

Increase the SPACE and DSNUM parameter values and rerun the job.
