When using z/OS Encryption Readiness Technology (zERT) connections screen panels within NetMaster, using PF5 Find Command only searches current page.
Using the zERT panels, D.ST.SEC.E and selecting the secured connections for our TN3270 server, there are thousands of connections. Using PF11 Right I can see the security level (i.e TLSv1.0) for a connection, however if I want to find SSL connections, typing SSL and using PF5 Find to search for "SSL" fails to find any SSL connections. In this case there are SSL connections but as they are not displayed on the current page, use of PF5 Find fails to find the SSL connections.
It appears that the PF5 Find only searches the current page, not the full list of 1000+ connections.
Release : 12.2
Component : CA NetMaster Network Management for TCP/IP
With the zERT panels, you can use the SORT and LOCATE commands.
SORT ? will show the full list of fields that can be sorted on and their abbreviations.
Use SORT and LOCATE commands. eg. SORT LEVEL should put SSL on page 1?
as TLS will come after.
The LOCATE command can reposition the list if needed. eg LOCATE TLSv1.0, LOCATE SSL.
