Issue/Introduction

The client would like to grant Master Authority to themselves and other users in a new CA View database.

Environment

Release : 14.0

Component : CA View

Resolution

Whoever is defined in SARINIT MASTER=xxxxxxxx is the first person allowed Master access to a View database.

With use of command "DEF USER", that person can then assign Master authority to others who have UserIDs for the database.
Those people then can use "DEF USER", to assign Master authority to others.

When in "DEF USER", there is the "M" column, which is used to designate Master authority.
Designating a user of "Y" (default, "N"), in the "M" column, will give them Master authority in the database.
