Issue/Introduction

What are the steps to setup Odata Credentials/access for one or more of our Clarity SaaS environments:  DEV, TEST, and/or PROD?

Resolution

1. The user id and password for odata is something that is set by the customer from the Classic Clarity Administration side. We recommend creating at least one new user via Clarity (the user cannot be in the portal). 
2. Ensure the user has access rights to odata listed below and any areas of clarity extracting the data from (such as project view rights). 
   • Data Warehouse OData Service - Navigate
   • OData - Access
3. It's recommend you can grant the user all access in Clarity. But, at a minimum, they'll need view rights to the areas of ppm that data will be extracted to such as the project management view.
4. Once access is granted to the user, run the below jobs:

• • Load Data Warehouse
  • Load Data Warehouse Access Rights
  • Refresh Data Warehouse OData Model
