Issue/Introduction

Testing the migration from z/OS 2.1 to z/OS 2.3. 

When using the  "SPACE - Dasd Analysis Menu" and option selected causes a "Command Failed" message at the top of the screen.

Cause

Incomplete customization to enable this command.

Resolution

To enable the SPACE Command

1 - Users must add GJTRUCBS to the AUTHTSF, AUTHCMD, and AUTHPGM table in the IKJTSOxx member of your SYS1.PARMLIB to enable the SPACE command.

2 - Use the TSO PARMLIB command to update the TSO system values.

3 - Make sure all load libraries in the STEPLIB concatenation of the TSO user are APF authorized
