Issue/Introduction

Through a CXX report on Data Query DBID 03, Customer sees that DQW is 100% full.

Do we need to extend that file?

Environment

z/os, CA Datacom/DQ 12.0 and above

Resolution

DQW file is always 100% full when looking at the CXX report.

DQWFINIT program initializes every blocks allocated and so appears to be 100% full via the CXX report.

If you are not getting any error related to "space insufficiency" then your DQW file is not full and good to be used.
