configure domsrvr for web services

Issue/Introduction

The web services activity is blocking the domsrvr, the users on GUI would be impacted the web services and webengine are sharing the same domsrvr

How to assign a specific domsrvr to web services ?

Environment

Service Desk Manager 14.1 and higher

Resolution

1. create a dedicated domsrvr
administration tab, system, configuration
create a new configuration conf1

edit conf1, add an object manager
keep the default and save it

This will create a second domsrvr:02

Run pdm_configure
in the page of "server process configuration" , choose conf1

 

2. Assign a domsrvr to web services
administration tab -> option manager -> web services
