Rally: "Show items from" in Project menu resets each login

Issue/Introduction

"Show items from" settings in the project menu seem to reset each time user logs in.

 

Environment

Release : SAAS

Component : AGILE CENTRAL

Cause

Rally uses hints from the URL to determine if a user wants to see work items from parent or child projects; the U representing parent projects and the D representing child projects.

If a bookmark is being used that contains a combination of these letters that isn't expected, it can appear to reset the preference every time this bookmark is used.

Resolution

Set the desired scoping type from the project dropdown and create a new bookmark.
