Issue/Introduction

Connector Xpress project defined for a POSIX directory schema on OpenLDAP. User and Group object classes and attributes defined. Within Connector Xpress Data Source created / tested, Endpoint Created, Meta-Data deployed. On attempt to acquire endpoint receive error message "Add: END: ERROR: org.apache.directory.shared.ldap.exception.LdapNameNotFoundException: JCS@<Server Host Name>: The endpoint type eTNamespaceName=OpenLDAP POSIX,dc=im,dc=etasa that was referenced in the request has not been activated".

As a test, I created a simple connector to connect with the IdM User Directory. That connector created, deployed, acquired and explored without issue. We have the connector server on the Provisioning vApp and a remote JCS/CCS running on the Windows 2016 server. Both LDAP DYN connectors are configured to use the remote connector server. Active Directory routes through the remote connector server and works correctly.

Environment

Component : IdentityMinder(Identity Manager)

Resolution

This issue was resolved by importing the certificate into the JCS from the Open LDAP system.
