CA Pan/SQL with DB2 version 12 requirements (rebinds etc.)

Issue/Introduction

Most vendor/apps are indicating a Rebind is in order after migrating to db2 version 12.  Assuming that is the case with CA-Pansql,  anything else required/recommended?

Environment

CA-Pan/SQL (DB2 Interface) Release : 2.4C

Resolution

When upgrading to DB2 version 12 with CA Pan/SQL 2.4C, please make sure that you are current on maintenance, noting that there are no PTFs specifically for DB2 v12.

Regarding rebinding, please run the IJ3STGE1, CB2ACMDL, and SQLINST4 (if more than one subsystem).

Please keep in mind:
DB2REL, a parameter inside of the OMSMCMD2 member in the CA Pan/SQL 2.4C's CAIMAC library, may be specified as '121' for DB2 v12.

Additional Information:
The OMSMCMD2 macro contains the override values for the DQSMCMD macro.
The DB2REL parameter should be set to the lowest release of DB2 with which you are running your CA Pan/SQL CAILIB library,
