Issue/Introduction

Why is my batch job failing with message "XCOMM0105E xxxxxxxx DATA INVALID" when I specify certain SYSIN01 parameters? Where the "xxxxxxxx" is replaced with the parameter that is flagged.

XCOM r12.0 for z/OS

Resolution

Per the CA XCOM Message guide:

The Reason for message XCOMM0105E is:

The CA XCOM Data Transport program that validates the SYSIN01 Batch Interface input parameters has detected an invalid parameter xxxxxxxx.

This will require you to review the parameter(s) specified in your SYSIN01. Please keep in mind that some parameters are only valid for the CONFIG member or the PARM card of your JCL. Refer to the CA XCOM User guide for details on the parameters.
