CA 11 Database STP area filling up
If you run the MANT task, it will also lower the number of records in the DSN and STP areas.
The DSN and STP area are part of the CMT. The MAINTAGE value in the config file will determine what will be deleted from the CMT.
The MANT task cleans up the 601 database. It will run automatically if MAINTTME is set to a non zero value.. It will purge old data from CMT based on the MAINTAGE parm in the config.
It will purge old data from the JEHF based on Maxday and Mincnt options. In order for information to be purged from the CMT MAINTAGE must not be set to zero.
You can do a manual run of the MANT task if you do have MAINTTME set to a non zero value by issuing the following DBAS command:
COMCHAR START MANT
To help with reallocating the STP file,
You can use the CA 11 SAMPJCL member AL7AD2 to allocate the files.
