I just changed the my Symdump batch r 11 options CAOETABL and reassemble and Link them. How to I get them activated?

Issue/Introduction

I have just changed my Symdump batch R 11 CAOETABL options. I just changed the PRTLIB= parameter to point to new print repository. I have reassembled and linked the new CAOETABL options. How do I get these new CAEOTABL options activated to replace the old one's currently in effect?

Resolution

You need to do the following steps after reassembling and linking the CAOETABL options.

1) LLA refresh.

2) Run a CAS9 CAIRIM step that contains the Intertest and Symdump r 11 initialization parameter for example 

    PRODUCT(CA INTERTEST/SYMDUMP) VERSION(VHB0) INIT(CAVHINIT)

Note: you may have other parameters on the card above for example the Intertest batch SVC number.

3) Run the options report to see the options in effect. The report JCL is located in HLQ.CAVHPROC(CAIOPTNS). The JCL reports on the options loaded into system storage.

Note: The CAOETABL by default is shipped in the HLQ.CAVHAUTH load library. If you link your new options CAOETABL options into a different load library you need to make sure the load library that contains your custom version of CAOETABL is first in the linklist.
