ADSST012*4281 SMS BYPASS FOR MGMTCLAS OR STORGRP RULES HAS BEEN IGNORED- NOT STOR ADMIN- SEE SYSPARMS SMSMCBYP AND SMSSGBYPUserid is not a Storage Administrator, so he can't bypass SMS.SMSSTGADdddThis sysparm is used to specify the FACILITY resource class profile name (44 bytes maximum). eTrust CA-Top Secret users should note that eTrust CA-Top Secret will actually
query your IBMFAC class instead of the FACILITY class. The default value is STGADMIN.DMS.STGADMIN.
The profile name is used by CA Disk to determine if a user is a storage administrator. CA Disk considers all users who have read authority to the profile name specified by
this sysparm to be storage administrators.
If the profile does not exist, or the facility class is not active, the user will be considered a storage administrator. CA Disk uses an IBM SAF call to make this determination.
Setting DIAGAUTH will show what we check for and the return codes.
Giving the user READ access for facility class resource name 'STGADMIN.DMS.STGADMIN', the SMS rules will be bypassed and the file can be backed up with the correct EXPDT.
