Issue/Introduction

This document describes how to display field content defined in Service Desk Web Screen Painter through IT Asset Manager

Environment

Release : 17.3 and higher

Component : CA Asset Portfolio Management

Resolution

You can display the fields if they are in the usp_owned_resource table in the mdb and are defined in the SDM Schema natively.  Certain fields, while defined at the DB level may not have an equivalent schema definition in SDM and as such may not be accessible in SDM, and thus ITAM.

Additionally, within ITAM, the given field can only be exposed in a Global configuration.
