ACF2 ACF2 - z/OS ACF2 - MISC

Issue/Introduction

With shared databases, on one system the password is suspended due to password violations but not on another.  Why would that happen if they are shared?

Environment

Release : 16.0

Component : CA ACF2 for z/OS

Resolution

The GSO PSWD record sets password options.  Different systems can have different GSO options based on the SYSID that ACF2 is started with.  If one system has PASSLMT set to 2, and another has 4, then a logonid may or may not be suspended for password violations depending on how many password violations are on that logonid and on which system is being logged on to.
