OPS/MVS Compatibility with z/OS 2.4

Issue/Introduction

We are about to start testing z/OS 2.4 at Regions.  Currently we are running OPS/MVS 13.5.  According to the compatibility matrix OPS needs PTF SO09794, which we do not have installed.  We are currently in the middle of installing previous OPS maintenance and I would prefer to not re-start the installation process to add this PTF.  Is SO09794 required to run OPS 13.5 with z/OS 2.4?  Would there be any negative impact if I do not install it immediately and pick it up with my next scheduled maintenance?

As a "toleration" PTF it's written to take advantage of a new z/OS feature, in this case ASLR. If you don't put it on you can't take advantage of it...so yes you can delay putting it on...
