Determine which Netmaster / SOLVE message rules are activating

Issue/Introduction

There is a need to determine which message rules are being used for cleanup purposes.

How can we see which rules are being activated?

Environment

CA Netmaster Network Management for TCP/IP all releases

CA Netmaster File Transfer Management all releases

SOLVE:Operations Automation all releases

Resolution

To easily find which message rules are activating,  go to the Eventview Ruleset definition under =A.E.R.R or /EADMIN.R.R. select the Ruleset with U and  update the Ruleset Description with 

Log Ruleset Activity? ........ YES

Then for each rule that activates there will be a message like this in the activity log:

RE0130 MSG RULE FOR PWDATA SET ATTRIBUTES:.......

plus possibly a message like

RMDBMS00 OBJID="PWTEST ZEVW94C8117373113693996" UPDATED...

The log can then be  filtered to see which message rules get activated and how often.
