Issue/Introduction

We just install  the   CA7 v12.1     web client  and   when  I   tried to   to use the  open flow view option   , the flow does not load.

The view  open up to a blank   page.

Environment

Release : 12.1

Component : CA-7 Webclient

Resolution

 Linux is missing the necessary font file that is need by the webclient. You must install the font config package. you can run the following command to see if the package is installed:

 

[root@XXXX002089 ~]#rpm -qa fontconfig

fontconfig-2.8.0-5.el6.x86_64

To install just run  yum install on fontconfig-2.8.0-5.el6.x86_64

You can also just install one font in the /usr/share/fonts  directory

Steps

1. go to the follow directory /usr/share/fonts

2. ls -l 

3. if the directory dejavu for example is not listed please create it by doing

4. mkdir -p dejavu 

5. move all the font or fonts into the  dejavu directory

6. Log back into webeclient and try the open flow view option again.
