Issue/Introduction

After migrating first subsystem to version 12 of Db2 and  updating the setup member in cdbaparm, everything worked:

SSIDVERF (V12R1M100)

SSIDVERC (V12R1M500)

After migrating a second subsystem, and making same setup changes in cdbaparm, the following message was received:

PT121E general connection failure.

Resolution

PT121E is a trap for DB2 abend reason codes pertaining to subsystems. These
messages indicate a problem with DB2, not a problem with the product.
A test on another subsystem with the same loadlib and works successfully.
