CA Privileged Access Manager (PAM)

Issue/Introduction

The following message is in the Privileged Access Manager (PAM) session logs, what is causing it to occur?

PAM-SRM-0012: An error occurred while post-processing of session recording: Recording file contains only file header packet. Possibly the remote server is powered off or security settings are too high. Deleting the file: #####-#####-#####_RDP

Resolution

The session recording is initialized before the RDP connection is established. If there is an issue establishing the RDP connection (network issue, bad username/password, etc), it will result in a 0 byte recording file and PAM will delete it. The PAM-SRM-0012 will be logged in the session logs whenever this scenario occurs.
