The SPECTRUM data source in CA Performance Center shows a status of busy and it is not syncing elements between CA Performance Center and Spectrum:
DX NetOps Spectrum & CAPM all Releases
The following is seen in the CAPC (NetOps Portal) Data Sources Manager log (DMService.log
) all through it:
INFO | pool-4-thread-22 | 2023-07-03 10:20:11,436 | com.ca.im.portal.dm.productsync.DataSourcePoller
| Data source Spectrum@SPEC_ONECLICK-1 is too busy to perform a sync.
Then looking at the Spectrum OneClick server log, we see the following repeatedly:
Jul 03, 2023 10:20:09.451 (http-nio-80-exec-268) (NetqosSyncLog) - (ERROR) - Sync attempted when one or more SpectroSERVERS are not connected to the OneClick server
This shows that the OneClick server hasn't reset the status of the landscape that was down.
All primary SpectroSERVERs must be running for the CA Performance Center data source to sync with Spectrum. If any of the Primary SpectroSERVERs are down or failed over to Secondary, the CA Performance Center data source will show busy and not sync new items.
Validate that all primary SpectroSERVERs in a distributed SpectroSERVER environment are up and running. Once the servers are up and running, Spectrum should sync successfully with CA Performance Center.
If the primary SpectroSERVERs are all up and running and the data source is still showing as busy in CAPC, then restart the Spectrum OneClick server. Then re-sync the Spectrum Data Source in CAPC.
