Yes, both CA Datacom/DB and CA Datacom/AD are compatible with IBM DS8880 devices.

CA Datacom is not hardware dependent and there are no reported problems with using these devices. 

In addition, as of release 14.0, CA Datacom supports EAV devices and takes advantage of cylinders above the 64k boundary.
