MOM not connecting to collectors after restart

Issue/Introduction

After restarting the MOM EM 10.7 SP3, we see that MOM EM is not connecting to collectors.

We see the following messages in MOM log.

[WARN] [Collector <Collector-hostname-1>@5002] [Manager.Cluster] The Collector has rejected the connection as the clamp value for MOM is reached.

[WARN] [Collector <Collector-hostname-2>@5002] [Manager.Cluster] The Collector has rejected the connection as the clamp value for MOM is reached.

 

 

Environment

Release : 10.7.0

Component : APM MOM EM

Resolution

It seems like some other MOM is already connected to the collectors. 

Please review the collector logs and see which MOM EM is connecting to collectors.

Only one MOM EM should be connecting to the collector.
