What is the difference between "Paste"  and "Paste as Inheritance"  ?

Environment

Resolution

After you copy a service ,

If you click "Paste" icon button ,  it basically will create a new service which has the same content with  the service that you copy from .    After that ,  this newly copied service  has no any relationship with the service that you copy from .  In other words ,  when updating or changing the content of either of those two services ,  it will not impact another one .

If you click "Paste"  icon button ,  it will create a new  service which inherits the service that you copy from .    After that ,  this newly copied service  has inheritance  relationship with the service that you copy from .   The service that you copy from is the parent service and  the newly created service via "Paste as inherited"  is child service .    When updating or changing the content of parent  service which the newly created service inherits from  ,  it will  impact  this newly created child service  .   Please  refer the additional information in this tecdoc for more informaiton .
