SYSVIEW Performance Management Option for DB2 for z/OS Database Management for DB2 for z/OS - Performance Suite Insight Performance Monitor for DB2 UDB for z/OS

Issue/Introduction

Problem summary: low getpage and high CPU reported for server threads – unable to identify a thread with this CPU time.
NOTE:  the issue clears within 10 mins.

  • Example emails below
  • Attaching the Insight Thread History data attached for the last 2 DB03 issues.
  • DB2B group has had no SERVERET alerts since Jan 2019.  Now we have had several in the past 2 days, but no thread showing the high CPU.

Environment

Release : 19.0

Component : CA Insight Database Performance Monitor for DB for z/OS

Resolution

is it possible to modify the IQL, leave it running and report the DC output with WTOs, when the high CPU will be reached again?
