Occasionally it will need to enable EEM server's TRACE logging to diagnose how EEM processes the authentication and authorization requests from catalog .
How to enable EEM server's TRACE logging level ?

Workload Automation AE 11.3.6/12.0
You can put EEM in trace logging level by editing %EIAM_HOME%\config\logger\server.xml file
Edit the entries to trace:
<logger name="eiam.server.ipoz" additivity="false">
<level value="trace"/>
<appender-ref ref="ipoz" />
</logger>
<logger name="eiam.server" additivity="false">
<level value="trace"/>
<appender-ref ref="server" />
</logger>
<logger name="eiam.server.performance" additivity="false">
<level value="trace"/>
<appender-ref ref="performance" />
</logger>
Note :
1) EEM log files are located at %EIAM_HOME%\logs\ folder
2) logging level change takes place dynamically , there is no need to recycle any service for the change
