Issue/Introduction

What parameters need to be changed on ESP Workload Automation when move to a different TCP stack?

Environment

Component: ESP Workload Automation
Release: ALL

Resolution

 Here are the changes needed:

  • Following parm in ESPPARM:
    TCPIP IBM(SNSTCP)

  • Following in AGENTDEF:
    TCPIP value on MANAGER
    ADDRESS for every AGENT definition

  • Following in WSSPARM:
    TCPIP IBM(SNSTCP)
    HOME HOST(MV01)

Note: If there is a firewall between ESP and the agent, it needs to be opened for the new address.
