CA View - Supported Release Levels for z/OS 1.13 and z/OS 2.2

Issue/Introduction

The client currently runs View 11.7 and wants to upgrade to be compatible with z/OS 2.2 (from z/OS 1.13).  

To what level of View should they upgrade to?

Component : CA View

Resolution

From View/Deliver 11.7, the next level to upgrade to is 12.2, which provides a revert path, in case of needing to back out. 

View 14.0 can revert only as far back as View 12.0. 

As View 12.2 is currently supported, an upgrade could then take place, going to 14.0. 

CA View/Deliver 12.2 are fully compatible with z/OS 1.13 and z/OS 2.2. 

CA View/Deliver 14.0 are also fully compatible with z/OS 1.13 and z/OS 2.2.
