Issue/Introduction

After Upgrading to Spectrum 10.3.1 and above, the Spectrum WebApp (Beta) is not accessible from Linux OneClick Systems

Environment

Spectrum 10.3.1 and Above.

Resolution

First, login to the Spectrum OneClick server and make sure the Spectrum WebTomcat process is running. This process is not set to start automatically by default.  To start the process, please run the following script:


<SPECROOT>/webtomcat/bin/startWebTomcat.sh


If users are still unable to access the application after the service has been started, please open the following log file:


<SPECROOT>/webtomcat/logs/catalina.out


You may see the following error:


<SPECROOT>/webtomcat/bin/catalina.sh: line 464: xvfb-run: command not found


This error indicates that the required library for the application is not installed. Please see the link below which will provide you with the correct library needed to resolve the issue:

If this error is not seen and users are still unable to launch the application please open a Spectrum support issue for assistance.
